Su precio es m s que adecuado Una forma agradable de acercarte a las obras de este museo Habr a preferido m s espacio dedicado a la pintura y menos a los libors iluminados, pero es que el museo tampoco da para m s Digamos que no es el Prado o el Louvre..

Bought this guide before visiting the Getty Center and the Getty Villa First I was a bit surprised by how the book was organized but it really reflects how the Getty collection is shown at the Getty Center and the Getty Villa Depending on the temporary exhibits taking place when you go, you may not be able to see every piece shown in the guide, however it is a very good introduction to the collection.Even if you don t intend to visit the Center or the Villa yet, the pictures and comments are well done and allow you to dream or look for information on the piece of arts that interest you Each page describes one piece of arts picture of the art, description of the media, name of the artist and quite a long narrative on the piece itself or the context of its creation.Be aware that this guide includes the antiquities collection seen at the Getty Villa although there is another detailed handbook solely dedicated to that collection. This guide however does not include the outdoor sculpture collection.List of Contents AntiquitiesManuscriptsPaintingsDrawingsSculpture and Decorative ArtsPhotographs
